Thank you for shopping at Judy’s Gingerbread! We are dedicated to delivering delicious, high-quality gingerbread products to your door. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand how we handle the transit of these fragile items.
1. Fragile Item Disclaimer (Please Read)
By placing an order with Judy’s Gingerbread, you acknowledge that gingerbread is an extremely fragile food item.
While we take great pride in our packaging and go to great lengths to protect your order (using bubble wrap, sturdy boxes, and padding), we hand your package over to third-party shipping carriers once it leaves our facility. We cannot control how the package is handled during transit.
Therefore, our official policy is as follows:

We cannot guarantee that products will not break during shipping.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or replacements for broken gingerbread pieces.
The Good News: If a piece arrives broken, it does not affect the taste or safety of the product! In almost all cases, broken gingerbread can be easily repaired using royal icing as "glue." Once decorated, the cracks are usually invisible. We recommend having extra icing on hand for minor structural repairs.
2. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders (especially during the holiday season), shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.
3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We currently offer Standard Shipping for all orders. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your order and your destination.

Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within 5 to 7 business days after processing.
Note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather or carrier volume, which are out of our control.
4. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States. Please ensure your address is correct at checkout, as we are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.
5. Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products and health/safety regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any food items. All sales are final.
If you have an issue with your order that is not related to breakage (e.g., you received the wrong item), please contact us at hello@judysgingerbread.com with your order number and a photo of the issue so we can make it right.
6. Lost or Stolen Packages
Judy’s Gingerbread is not responsible for packages deemed lost or stolen once they have been marked as "Delivered" by the carrier. If you are worried about theft, please use a shipping address where someone will be available to receive the package.
