It can take between 4-6 hours, including baking time, but we like to spread it between a couple days. We usually bake the gingerbread and cut it out the night before and then put the houses together and decorate them the next day. I’d suggest doing this if you’re building them with your kids or if you’re throwing a gingerbread party!

Our gingerbread house kit is better! ;) Ok, really though, those other kits come with very few, low quality candies, and the frosting doesn’t stick. On the other hand, our kit comes with a dry ingredient mix for the gingerbread and frosting, so you’ll bake the gingerbread (trust us, you’ll love the smell of fresh baked gingerbread throughout your house!), and mix the frosting! Our secret frosting recipe is incredible - it hardens like a rock and will keep your house and candy in place! I guarantee you won’t have issues with your house falling apart with our frosting recipe! Our kit also comes with our printed A-frame template, frosting bags and tips, and high quality candy for you to decorate your house with! The biggest difference is the quality of the materials and the quality of the experience. There’s something special about actually making your own gingerbread and cultivating that skill!
